Study Support
Monday – Thursday after school
Members of the faculty are available, approximately once a fortnight, to High School students during Study Support.
Individual and group counselling
University Guidance at Skagerak offers individual and group counselling to students in order to provide them with guidance and support through the entire university application process from start to finish.
The process begins during Foundation Year when students choose the subjects they wish to study at the Diploma level. At this stage students are guided through several career profiles, which help students identify their interests and strengths in order to explore potential career and subject options.
understanding requirements
For those in the Diploma Programme the role of university guidance is to keep students informed about the requirements for tertiary study, the latest trends, the wide variety of courses on offer and the entire university application process.
Visits by a wide range of university representatives and other organisations are arranged throughout the academic year allowing students to make valuable contact with admission officers. Workshops and other events are frequently organised to better prepare students for the planning of their future.
