We have a very diverse community of students that work together with the best, most qualified MYP teachers in Norway. Students are encouraged to learn in a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach that offers real-world challenges in many different global contexts. Fostering intercultural awareness is a fundamental principle of the programme, along with communication and the importance of providing a holistic curriculum in order to better promote the development of the ‘whole’ child.

The IB’s Middle Years Programme (MYP) provides a framework of academic challenge and life skills for students aged 11/12 to 16/17 years. It naturally follows the Primary Years Programme and is designed to be an excellent preparation for the IB Diploma Programme.

We value creative and risk-taking experiences throughout the students’ Middle School years. From our outdoor educational camps at the start of the year to our weeklong international trips in the spring, our educators look for opportunities to extend learning out of the classroom and into the real world.
