MYP students are required to carry out service on a regular basis. They are supported in their various initiatives as well as guided to reflect on other people’s needs and on the meaning and impact of their actions.

Students select independent activities that are both inside and outside of school. Most Service as Action projects are completed outside of school hours. In MY4-5, students are encouraged to develop ideas and lead groups of younger students in order to develop leadership skills. Students select either school-based, local community-based or international projects, depending on their interests.
